Fall Hockey Girls Team
The Maine High School Hockey Association philosophy is to provide all necessary and reasonable support for the accomplishment of its mission and its student athletes. Training and support from experienced coaches, good sportsmanship requirements, and competitive schedules to improve team performance are some aspects of the program. This program is designed to continue the drive for success and provide opportunities to compete with the top programs in the state of Illinois at the varsity. Educational demands are a player’s priority and hockey schedules should be set recognizing finals, college testing and other important high school events.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Current high school players residing in Maine District 207, Taft, Resurrection, and Willows Academy are eligible.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Season begins with player evaluations in August and runs until playoffs in February.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall midweek.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Club jerseys game socks are required and may be purchased at evaluations/Jersey Fittings

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Players are responsible for their own equipment
